Available Open Positions for Trainees 2007

The cut-off of the
published positions will be done after 21 days from the date of the
publication and will be closed once the candidate is selected.

In-service training is a period spent at the Joint Research Centre, in
accordance with the rules set out in the
Rules governing the Traineeship Scheme of 16 March 2007.
In-service training enables trainees to acquire personal experience and to put
into practice the knowledge they have acquired during their studies,
professional carrers or to prepare thesis for university degree or Master or
PhD.
Three types of training are offered. The minimum duration
is three months and the maximum is normally twelve months (see art. 2 and 5 of
the Rules).

Accomodation:
the trainees will have the possibility to rent a furnished flat if
available.
In-service training takes place within the fields of activity of the
Institute for Environment and Sustainability at the JRC Ispra,
Italy.
The call is open to trainees from EU Member States, or Candidate Countries,
or CC benefiting from pre-accession strategies and other countries
contributing financially to the Framework Programme. A limited number
of nationals of non-Member States may also be accepted with derogation from the
Director General.
Please read carefully the Rules governing the Traineeship
Scheme, mentioned above, before applying.

- Short description as to why the particular project interests you
Only candidates having sent a complete application, as described in the
Rules governing the Traineeship Scheme (see art.3.2), will be elegible and can
be selected for one of the positions published.
